About Us

Our Vision

At The Vegan Age, we believe in the difference a choice can make—whether it’s ours or yours. Our mission is to help the world see, understand, and feel this difference. That’s why all of our apparel is designed to shed light on the animals commonly exploited in the food and fashion industries.

True to this spirit, our Animal Friends articles share facts, stories, and a fresh perspective on the animals you thought you knew. Pigs can feel? Cows can be friends? You better believe it. The better we understand these animals, the better chance we—and you—have to make a difference.

Our Brand

The Vegan Age is a vegan apparel and lifestyle brand that designs high quality, positive, fashionable streetwear for women, men and kids. The vegan age is here – with more people than ever transitioning to a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle. By focusing on and sharing positive messages about veganism, we want to celebrate the vegan movement and help it grow.

Our 2018 collection is now available and features silhouettes of cows, chickens, pigs, deer and elephants, and highlights what these animals would be “born to” in the vegan age.

A portion of profits will be donated to the Loveland Farm Sanctuary, a farm sanctuary in the making in Southern California.

Please enjoy our 2018 collection, and check back often for new designs and products. And don't forget to join our mailing list, and we’ll keep you up-to-date on what’s going on in the vegan community.

Our Roots

We decided to make the lifestyle change after watching documentaries such as Forks Over Knives and Earthlings, for both compassionate and health reasons.

It’s been 4 years (!), and we love the choice we made. We also love to share positive information about the vegan lifestyle with friends and family and are ready to spread the message to a larger audience. We want to deliver the message by focusing on interesting facts about the amazing and complex nature of the animals featured on our clothing.

Our dream is to support our family with The Vegan Age, and while working to doing so, we will be supporting vegan non-profit organizations.

The Vegan Movement – Welcome to the Vegan Age!

Veganism has slowly emerged over the last decade and is making its way into the mainstream. Veganism is a way of living which seeks to exclude, as far as is possible and practicable, all forms of exploitation of animals for food, clothing or any other purpose. Social media has given vegans and vegetarians a platform on which to share their beliefs and educate people on the effects of the agriculture industry to both animals and to the environment.

Countless documentaries, including Earthlings, Cowspiracy and Forks Over Knives, are sharing the same message but are also focusing on the health benefits of a plant-based diet which is peaking the interest of the masses. Celebrities, such as Bill Clinton, Ellen Degeneres and James Cameron, are also spreading the news. And the message is getting through. In 2009, only 2.5% of the US population was vegetarian. Only 1% of the population identified as vegan in 2014, and today, 6% of the population is vegan – new vegetarians and vegans are popping up everyday!
